pedestal bowl, small

$50.00

This is made with wild clay that I dig here in central North Carolina. I use this local red clay to make a liquid “slip” that is poured into custom plaster molds that I form in-house. This process creates pottery that is surprisingly lightweight. It is coated with a special glossy glaze that I make specifically for this wild clay. There is an 18k gold accent on the rim. The bare clay base is treated with water and oil-resistant Liquid Quartz food safe sealer. Handwashing is recommended, just like for your grandmother’s fine china. But please use this pottery more frequently than she used her china.

Do not microwave.
